International Badge Day
Women Supporting and Celebrating Women
March 4, 2024
Celebrate Badge Day and National Women’s History month with a donation to the MCPAA Scholarship Fund!
Montgomery County Panhellenic Alumnae Association (MCPAA) proudly supports International Badge Day on March 4, 2024. International Badge Day was established in 1997 by the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) to set aside a day for women -- in sororities and in all different umbrella organizations -- throughout the world to wear their sorority badges or Greek letters in a celebration of sisterhood. Join us in celebrating by wearing your badge and inviting all sorority women you know to do the same!
The month of March is also National Women’s History Month. You can help MCPAA raise funds for our annual scholarships by donating to the fund. These scholarships are to be used toward tuition, books, and school expenses.
Each scholarship winner will be a woman who exhibits leadership abilities in her sorority, campus activities, and community service. She must be a full-time student enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university and an active member in good standing in her sorority’s chapter to receive this award. All eligible applicants must have registered for recruitment with the Montgomery County Alumnae Panhellenic Association.
Again, join us in celebrating by making a donation, "Wearing Your Letters on Your Heart" and inviting all sorority women you know to do the same! You can also wear your badge virtually by making it your profile picture on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. that day.
Resources for International Badge Day are available on the NPC website.
